Our good friend Kalia helped us get settled in once we got to Kaiserslautern, Germany. Some of her friends she had were having a get together and we were invited to come hang out with them. At the hang out, Chris and Kristin hosted and we played games and got to hang out. One of their friends there that night was Courtney and we all got along great. As time went by they were looking at PCSing and she was needing some updated headshots. With moving back to the states she was looking to apply for jobs. She wanted a professional Kaiserslautern headshot photography session downtown.

We met up and began walking down different streets. She had lived there longer so she knew of some pretty looking streets. We began in front of someone’s wooden door that looked pretty. After that we went through town until we were in the main downtown area with all the shops. With some good shots there we went over to the church and had her have a seat at a table. She did a quick outfit change and we continued through the area until we came to some steps. I had her sit on the steps for some photos and then stand against the pillars.

DOWNTOWN URBAN HEADSHOTS

Right next to the stairs was an open courtyard with lamps lining the area. I had her pose against a lamp post before we went over to a local cafe. They had some outside seating and we got a table there for some more photos. Here she brought in her glasses and did some quick shots before moving to the next location. We went back toward the main mall area and I had her stand in the middle of the street. The buildings lined both sides and all the stores were open and bustling with business. There was a flower store that had all of their flowers out on display and we made a stop here for some photos.

Out to the main road and entrance to the walking mall area there was a big water fountain. We did some photos with her sitting on the fountain and then also standing in front of it. Happy with the shots we’d gotten we began to make our way back to where we had parked. On the way I saw another outdoor seating area with wood tables and benches. We stopped here and asked if we could just take a few quick photos here. They obliged and we snuck in and sat at a table for some final photos for this Kaiserslautern headshot photography session.
