Boston has slowly become one of our favorite cities to return to as we love the history and people there. Clémence and Oliver are no exceptions as we love getting to spend time with them. Clémence originally got in touch with us to give her friends Lucie and David some Boston wedding photography as a gift for their elopement. We kept in touch after we left the Boston area and would reach out when we knew we’d be back in town. On one return visit Clémence scheduled a Carlisle wedding photography session with us. They had gotten married in France and wanted to get some updated photos in their wedding attire out in the country.

Clémence wanted to return to the area where Oliver grew up and had proposed for a session. She had also wanted to include some horses for their session as they both love horses and grew closer together early in their relationship around horses. After living with Tracey and Charlie she’d built a great friendship with them and working with their horses. Clémence had talked with them about coming over for the photo session to use their beautiful property and they gracefully allowed us.

HORSE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

We met Clémence at their apartment just outside of Boston and she gave us a ride in. Along the way we stopped for some ice cream, which was so good on a hot day. Upon arriving at the home we took a look around the property for shot ideas. Once Oliver arrived we had them get dressed and we got started with our Carlisle wedding photography session.

We began next to the rock wall on the edge of their property with the light shining in behind them. After grabbing some shots with them together and as individuals we pulled them over to the barn. In the barn we got some pictures of them playing with the horses and then loving on one another. The time had arrived to pull out the horses for some pictures, but not before a wine break. Tracey and Charlie were such gracious hosts and brought out wine and beer for us and we sat and got to chat. It was such a pleasure to get to sit with everyone and talk, share stories and have some drinks.
