I had the privilege of meeting Neil, the owner of HireClix, one morning while I was at the local laundromat. As we were talking we got to know what the other did for work. Once we got into conversation more, Neil began to tell me about an event he was hosting for his clients. His company was going to host their first annual Vendor Olympics. He was looking for photo coverage for about 3 hours, the entirety of the outdoor events. The main goal was to show off and capture the fun they have with their clients. Naturally, I was very excited at the opportunity and agreed to come along and capture the events for the day!

As I got there they were still getting set up for the events of the day. As they began the events I knew I was in for some fun photos with them. To start the Vendor Olympics, they would do a keg toss throwing an empty keg as far as they could. From there they would throw a REAL harpoon at a target and then fling stretchy rubber chickens into laundry baskets. After that they would go to the chicken launcher where they’d use a water balloon launcher. With the water balloon launcher they were able to catapult the rubber chickens through the air as a team.

While this was happening the human hungry hippo event happening that had contestants on roller boards. One teammate would hold a laundry basket while laying prone on a board with wheels collecting ball pit balls. The other would member would hold their legs and wheel them around to the best spots to collect balls. At the same time there were participants on garden planters jousting trying to knock one another off with padded sticks. Last but not least they would participate in a Zorbing sprint and relay for the fastest time.

Needless to say these events were a riot to watch and capture. Everyone who came and were lucky enough to participate were nothing but smiles. It was such a pleasure to work with Neil and his team at HireClix for this entertaining event. We’re definitely excited to continue our relationship with them in the future.
