When the Bannister family found out they were pregnant they invited me in to capture maternity and newborn photos. It was an honor for them to request us and to come in and help them chronicle this season. They took part in our first quarter mini sessions in Colorado Springs and we had a great time with them. The love they have for one another and their child was so evident and overflowing. It was beautiful to witness them and it was a joy getting to capture it. The alleyway we went to gave a beautiful setting with rustic brick walls. The reflective glass and long walking area gave some depth of field for shots.

We began our mini session with the two of them in an alleyway downtown just getting to show their love. These photos of the two of them are some of our favorites of families. We continued around the small alleyway for a short period getting different backdrops and angles. After a short while with just the two of them we brought in their newborn son. We incorporated him into different pictures with them both individually and together as a family.
