CHARLESTON FALLS PRESERVE PET PHOTOGRAPHY

When I started working at the hospital in Ohio, one the first people I made friends with was Jessica. She’s so friendly and she expressed interest in pictures of her and her sweet dog Eli. As my assignment went on, Jessica and I had trouble lining up schedules to do a session. We finally found a date that worked for us both and I was excited to spend some time with her.

We met for this Charleston Falls Preserve pet photography session which is a nice trail that leads to a waterfall. This trail is very special for Jessica, she is getting ready to move to Georgia for a new job and this is a spot that her and Eli come often together. It was great to be able to capture pictures of Jessica and Eli to help cherish these memories. We started at the trailhead and and enjoyed the break in the rain. With a school field trip there at the same time we quickly made our way ahead of them to avoid traffic. We grabbed some shots along the trail and on a bench we came across.

We then walked a little further and came up on the waterfall, which was so beautiful. Jessica mentioned that she had never seen the waterfall so strong and the water so high, it was a great day for a Charleston Falls Preserve pet photography session. We grabbed some fun shots of Jessica and Eli near the waterfall and enjoyed the beauty of this park. Eli was so photogenic and was so easy to work with! After enjoying the waterfall, we walked further down the trail to follow the loop back to the entrance. There was a bridge along the trail and we stopped there for some more pictures.

The rain was slowly starting back up but Jessica and Eli  went strong to get more good photos. As the rain picked up, we headed back towards the trailhead and capturing some last pictures. Jessica and Eli were so great to work with and we were so glad to spend time with them and be able to capture this special place that holds so many memories. It was great timing for both Jessica and I as we were both getting ready to leave Ohio.
