As we began to plan for our fall we knew we wanted to be on the east coast. We weren’t quite sure where we’d land but we began advertising in all the northeast areas. We were aiming for spots we were thinking we’d potentially like to be with our advertising. Once we got to Boston we put our efforts towards advertising locally. Before we did that however, we booked a wedding in the Washington D.C. area. Once that was in the books we began advertising again and got a session with the Lozano family. They wanted to meet at the downtown area of Alexandria in Virginia for their session. After spending all day shooting the wedding, Rachel went back home to rest. I went to go meet with the Lozano family for this Alexandria family photography session.

We met at the Starbucks in the bustling old downtown area and went to a street that was all cobblestone. On that street we made stops in front of doorways to take pictures and then went into the street. Here we got some more family photos with them walking the street. Making our way up I noticed it was a popular area for photographs as there were several sessions happening. Along with grabbing family photos I was able to get individual photos for business profiles along the way. Most important I got plenty of baby Lozano and her smiling face.

After we’d walked up a few blocks and shot in a beautiful alley, we went back toward the water for the final shots. Walking through busy areas and getting photos in front of boats on the water challenge but we great shots.  Our session concluded as the sun set overlooking the water in a nearby park. It was such a privilege to meet and work the Lozano family and we look forward to working with them again.
