When initially asked if we could do the Ricker family’s Discovery Park maternity photography session weren’t sure if we’d be in town. Fallyn arrived a month early which meant we got the opportunity to work with the Ricker family again. They let us come over to get some Kent newborn lifestyle photography to welcome Fallyn to the world. After they were released from the hospital we set up a date to do a session. For newborn lifestyle sessions we usually recommend coming to your home which is what we did for the Ricker family.

When I arrived at their home they showed me around and we caught up with one another. They had 2 beautiful dogs that were waiting outside as well to be apart of the session. In the middle of the session they were allowed in to do photos as well. We began the session upstairs in the nursery while we still had some daylight. There were definitely some precious pictures with the 3 of them that we were able to get there.

After that we went to the master bedroom where we got some more photos. Here we got shots of the 3 of them on the bed and some with just Juliana and Fallyn. After some shots in there we went downstairs to get some food in Fallyn and the dogs. After that we went back to the nursery and made a setup with a crate and rug that Juliana had. It was such a privilege to be able to work the Ricker family with both maternity to newborn sessions.
