These two were an absolute joy to work with and knew exactly the shots they were after. They knew how to pose for the shots they wanted and knew the spots to shoot at. This was technically an engagement session however their actual marriage was to take place later in Korea. Their wedding was a month later but with their attire it fit to showcase their session with our wedding portfolio. Having attended college at the University of Washington, Amy was very familiar with the campus. She knew all the pretty locations around campus that she wanted to shoot at for their session.

We began the session at the Suzzallo Library on campus. We’d looked up University of Washington wedding photography examples and this library showed up in all the research. It is BEAUTIFUL and has a beautiful stairway leading from the ground floor to the library floor. It has beautiful light pouring in from the windows adorning the stairway. After that we went to the library portion that has beautiful vaulted ceilings and chandeliers hanging throughout. This beautiful setting is even better due to its floor to ceiling windows all around. After we got some beautiful photos in the Suzzallo Library, we went around campus more. We came to the fountain where we got some beautiful images before continuing. A bystander insisted on a selfie with the couple before we went to the next location. She lead us next to a spot with stairs and a beautiful entryway.

After that we finished off our session in the grassy common area with photos on the bench. They were such a great couple to work with and it was great getting to explore the University of Washington campus. They knew their way around and they made it easy to capture these beautiful engagement photos.
