Laura Tefertiller is a birthing coach in Colorado Springs. When she got in touch with us to do The Broadmoor family photography with her family, we were so happy. It was exciting to have the opportunity to meet with her and her family to do a session together. Her parents were looking for a photo session as a gift to the family. While everyone was in town for the holidays we were able to capture everyone together. We began this session right after a session with Sara Paula and The Broadmoor portrait photography session we did with her. We went right on over into shooting with the Tefertiller family who were wanting to shoot inside The Broadmoor.

It’s not very often we utilize our flash but shooting indoors at night we set up our off camera flashes. We began with a full family shot and shots with the grand parents. Then we went into working with the individual families in one of the long hallways on the second floor. After that the grandparents went over to the dinner location. The individual families and I went around to different locations to shoot starting at the library. In the library we did individual couples shots and siblings. We then made the decision to continue onward to another area for remaining The Broadmoor family photography.

There was a fire place we took a break at briefly and then saw a beautiful, well lit hallway. e found that ended up being one of my favorite spots for another group shot. We wrapped up the session there and they want on to joint the grandparents for dinner there at The Broadmoor. We had a great time with all of them and were so thankful to be invited to take photos of their family all together.
