Connecting with local business support groups is always a great idea for small business owners. In a local group I met Troy Pesola and we connected right away during meetings. Our first project together was a photoshoot for a local small business he was working with, Flashback Barbershop. Our goal was to get some initial photos to showcase and begin promoting the barbershop before it opened. Along with the photos I also designed their pricing menu displayed in their store. After that we remained in touch until the announcement came that his daughter, Alyssa, was engaged! He sent over a message to see if I’d be open to shooting their wedding, which I was happy to. Through conversation we agreed to partner together for their Lower Lake Ranch Wedding Photography.

The day before their wedding my 2nd shooter called out and said they wouldn’t be able to come. So, this became my first solo wedding shoot. Thankfully everyone was very flexible and the areas they were getting ready were in the same building. The wedding was at Lower Lake Ranch near Denver, CO and the location was stunning – set within the mountains on a beautiful day. They had a little lake on the property that made for a beautiful setting tucked into the mountains. As the sun went down we were able to get some beautiful images with the bride and groom along with their bridal party. It was a beautiful occasion and we loved getting to be apart of Alyssa & Marcel’s special day.

This was such a beautiful venue and we’d love to be able to visit again and capture more weddings there.
