FLATIRONS MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

Hannah and I went to high school together in Westminster, Colorado. Over the years we’ve stayed connected to one another. I reached out to Hannah on Instagram when she was in search of trading services. Hannah is into fitness and creates meal plans and work out plans for her clients. When Hannah and I got in touch, we decided to trade her personalized plans for a Flatirons maternity photography session.

Hannah is pregnant with her second baby and was in need of some photos to capture this moment in time as well as some family photos. James and I had plans to visit Colorado for a week in March and our timelines matched up with Hannah’s. Hannah mentioned that she was interested in doing pictures at Flatirons Vista Trailhead, which was a new location for us. James and I arrived a little early for the shoot and scoped the area and discussed photo ideas for their Flatirons maternity photography session. This location was so stunning and the view was gorgeous, we couldn’t wait to do a shoot here.

BOULDER MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHER

With Hannah, Christian and Adilynn arriving for our session and we got under way! We got some great shots of the whole family with the Flatirons in the background. We grabbed some of just the expectant mother and father  and worked with the wind. While we had such a beautiful location, it was a bit windy this day. Up a trail we found a great spot near a fence and the sun was setting into the Rocky Mountains. We grabbed some solo shots of Adilynn, such a little model! We then recruited Christian to head to the car to grab more props and during this time we focused on the expecting mother.

Hannah was so great to shoot with and we got some stunning photos of her. We love getting to capture this special and unique time in family’s lives. Adilynn was interested in taking some pictures of her beautiful mother and we helped her use the camera. We then grabbed pictures of mother and daughter and got some very special shots of Adilynn loving on her soon-to-be baby brother.

FLATIRONS PREGNANCY PHOTOS

We finished the shoot with this sweet little family snuggled up on a blanket just enjoying each other. The sun dropped behind the mountains and we called it a day and went back to the parking lot.

James and I really enjoyed working with Hannah, Christian, Adilynn and baby boy. They’re such a fun and easy family to work with and we all are very happy with how the shoot came out. It was so great to connect with Hannah and be able to provide each other with unique services. We love this location and are so glad that Hannah thought of it because we can’t wait to go back!
