SAPPHIRE POINT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

As we were wrapping up in Boston we began to advertise back home in Denver for our wedding photography services. Rae got in touch to talk about having photos done for their elopement in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She narrowed in a location at Sapphire Point near Dillon, Colorado that sounded like a picturesque location. This is an ideal location for an intimate elopement and perfect for some beautiful Saphire Point wedding photography. Rae and Sage were living in Colorado before heading to Texas to be stationed in the United Kingdom.

As I drove up the mountain I saw that the weather was just perfect and the views were breathtaking. They met with me and a few of their friends from out of town who came to support them. We drove up past Arapahoe Basin in the mountains and stopped on the side of the road. They all put on their wedding attire in the car and we went forward with the ceremony at an overlook. One of their friends officiated their marriage and they gave their vows to one another. We went around the overlook and got some beautiful Saphire Point wedding photography with them and their friends.

BRECKENRIDGE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

As we made our way to the other side of the road, a local snowboarder stopped. He said he saw them saying their vows as he was coming down the mountain and made a stop. He had a Hawaiian lay that he had broken and spread on the mountain for them. Then he threw some of the flowers toward them and said Aloha. We hiked up the mountain and found where he had thrown some flowers for them. At that spot we thought it would be special and took some photos of just the two of them. From there we drove down the mountain and stopped at Sapphire Point to do more photos together.
