Ricker Family Newborn

Kent, Washington

Initially when we were asked to do the Ricker family’s maternity session we were thinking we wouldn’t be in town for when baby Ricker arrived but when we saw that Fallyn had arrived a month early we were so excited at the opportunity to work with the Ricker family again to get some newborn photos welcoming her to the world. After they were released from the hospital we set up a date to do a session together and I came to their home for the session.

When I arrived at their home, it was a beautiful home, and they showed me around and we caught up with one another as I asked about how everything went. They had 2 beautiful dogs that were waiting outside as well to be apart of the session and in the middle of the session we allowed them in to do photos with them as well. We started off the session upstairs in the nursery while we still had some daylight and got some precious pictures with the 3 of them.

After we had gotten some photos in their nursery we moved to the master bedroom where we got some more photos of the 3 of them on the bed and some with Juliana and Fallyn. After some shots in there we moved downstairs to get some food in Fallyn and the dogs. From there we went back to the nursery and wrapped up our session there in a create and rug that Juliana had purchased. It was such an honor and privilege to be able to work the Ricker family from maternity to post birth to capture their precious newborn, Fallyn.

We travel coast to coast and when we’re in an area we love to shoot as much as possible. If you’re in the state of Washington and looking for a newborn photographer, we’d love to be considered. Get in touch with us to see if our schedules align and see if we’ll be in your area!
