Bob + Britt

Seattle, Washington

Conversation with Britt and Bob started when they were in search of a wedding photographer for their upcoming wedding day this fall. After some dialogue back and forth we agreed to work together for their Discovery Park engagement photography session and wedding day needs! Their engagement session was the first time we’d been down to Discovery Park and we were excited to get to see a new location here in the Seattle area. We met up with them at the north parking lot and let our dogs introduce themselves – they brought their puppy and we brought our doggos.

We hiked in a little ways from the parking lot getting to know each other and listening to their story, what they do, etc. etc. and came across an open field we all liked. I walked through and around the field and found a few locations we could utilize with high growing grass and an old wooden fence. We grabbed a few shots and then told them I wanted to return to that spot once the sun got a little lower. From there we went down the maze of stairs to the beach area and decided that the lighthouse was too far away of a walk so we did some shots on the path we were on, on some rocks nearby and then went down to the water to grab a few more.

There were a few shots mixed in that were kind of baby announcement photos as well with an extra pair of shoes, a sign with timelines included and puppy paws. It was great to be able to help them showcase their love for one another and help announce their growing family with this Discovery Park engagement photography session. We’re excited and thrilled to shoot with them on their wedding day here in Seattle in August.

Discovery Park is a beautiful location just north of Seattle and we’d love to shoot there again any chance we can have. If you’d love some images at the shore during a Discovery Park engagement photography session, we’d love to talk to you and help plan out your session!
